RESOLUTION NO. 2025—32 <br /> A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br /> PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> FOR THE 2025 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: DUCK PASS, PALMES LONG <br /> LAKE ESTATES, AND INGERSOLL AVENUE N AREA <br /> CITY OF HUGO,WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN <br /> WHEREAS estimated costs have been calculated for 2025 Street Improvement Project: Duck <br /> Pass,Palmes Long Lake Estates and Ingersoll Avenue N Area, consisting of the following <br /> roadway improvements: <br /> • Full depth reclamation on Duck Pass, Palmes Long Lakes Estates, and Ingersoll Avenue <br /> N <br /> The estimated cost for such improvements is $1,296,232. That portion of the project that is <br /> assessable is the roadway improvements with estimated costs is $180,778; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br /> Minnesota, as follows: <br /> I. The portion of the cost of the roadway improvement is hereby declared to be $1,296,232; <br /> and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br /> be$180,778. <br /> 2. Assessments shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of 10 years, <br /> the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January 2026 and <br /> shall bear interest at the rate of 5.05 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the <br /> assessment resolution. <br /> 3. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br /> amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or <br /> parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by <br /> law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> 4. The clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council <br /> thereof. <br /> Council members voting AYE: Krull, Miron, Petryk, Strub, Weidt <br /> Council members voting NAY: None <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 181h 25. <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
