19 <br /> <br />AMENDMENtS <br />Section 19.1 Amendment (s) Procedures: The bylaws of the Association may be <br />amended at any regular or special meeting of the Association by a majority of the <br />members present and voting, provided that a quorum is present. At the meeting, the <br />membership shall have an opportunity to discuss the proposed amendments (s). After the <br />discussion the proposed amendments (s) may be acted upon. Subject to a waiver, the <br />Secretary of the Association shall mail notice to each member, at their last known <br />address, not less than thirty (30) days prior to the reading and vote of the proposed <br />amendment (s). Such notice shall set forth the date, time, place, proposed amendment (s) <br />and any other purpose of the meeting. The Secretary shall also post the same notice on <br />the bulletin board at the Fire Department. If such amendment or amendments shall <br />change the amount of benefits or pensions, approval of the Hugo City Council must be <br />obtained if a municipal contribution is required to fund such change or if state law so <br />requires. <br /> <br /> <br />ARTICLE XX <br />REviEW <br />Section 20.1. Periodical review: These bylaws shall be reviewed by a committee of no <br />less than three (3) people on a biannual basis. The review committee shall be composed <br />of the President of the Association and members of the General membership. This review <br />shall occur on an as needed basis.
