PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING UPDATE: <br /> <br />At its meeting of Thursday, October 23, 2025 the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />and considered the request. No one spoke during the public hearing. The Planning Commission <br />voted unanimously to recommend approval of the minor subdivision request to the City Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a minor subdivision to create two lots out of a 30.06 acre <br />lot. The lots created would be two parcels that are 20.06 and 10 acres in size. <br /> <br />3. CONTEXT: <br /> <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br /> <br />The surrounding properties to the north, east, south, and west are zoned Agricultural and are <br />developed as agricultural or residential homes. <br /> <br />B. Natural Characteristics of Site <br /> <br />The property is relatively flat with some lower lying channels that have drained irrigation. There <br />are approximately 2.92 acres of wetland on the site. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
