RESOLUTION 2025-46 <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING UNPAID UTILITY BILLS TO THE COUNTY <br /> AUDITOR FOR COLLECTION <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 82-70 and Section 82-112 of the municipal code the <br /> City Clerk may certify to the county auditor the amounts due for water and sewer <br /> charges, including penalty; and <br /> WHEREAS,the amounts subject to assessment have been minimized through diligent <br /> collection efforts by staff; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br /> WASHINGTON COUNTY,MINNESOTA, that the attached utility bills are declared <br /> unpaid. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified copy of <br /> this certification role to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax lists of the <br /> county and such certified unpaid charges shall be collected and paid over in the same <br /> manner as property taxes. <br /> Upon roll call, the following members voted AYE: Krull, Miron, Petryk, Strub, Weidt <br /> Upon roll call, the following members voted NAY: None <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 15'day of December <br /> 2025. <br /> 1 <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
