RESOLUTION 2025- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING UNPAID UTILITY BILLS TO THE COUNTY <br />AUDITOR FOR COLLECTION <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 82-70 and Section 82-112 of the municipal code the <br />City Clerk may certify to the county auditor the amounts due for water and sewer <br />charges, including penalty; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the amounts subject to assessment have been minimized through diligent <br />collection efforts by staff; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the attached utility bills are declared <br />unpaid. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified copy of <br />this certification role to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax lists of the <br />county and such certified unpaid charges shall be collected and paid over in the same <br />manner as property taxes. <br /> <br /> <br />Upon roll call, the following members voted AYE: <br /> <br />Upon roll call, the following members voted NAY: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 15th day of December, <br />2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________ <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br /> <br />
