RESOLUTION 2025-__ <br /> <br />APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING <br />MAP 3-1, 2040 LAND USE PLAN <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kwik Trip, Inc. has proposed a comprehensive plan amendment to change <br />the land use from Low Density Residential (LD) to Commercial (COM) on property <br />legally described as; <br /> <br />OUTLOT B, The Shores of Oneka Lake, Washington County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo Planning Commission, at a public hearing on December <br />11, 2025, reviewed the proposed map amendment and recommended approval of the <br />application to the Metropolitan Council for the Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 15, 2025, the City Council reviewed the Planning <br />Commission’s recommendations, and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment changing the land use on Map 3.1, 2040 Land Use <br />Map. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 15th day of December, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk
