<br />: <br /> Page 12 <br />to the station unless released by Incident Command and to remain until the call is <br />completed or released by the Incident Commander. <br />In addition to training attendance, firefighters are required to respond to 25% of <br />emergency calls. Call percentages are reviewed annually. If a firefighter does not meet <br />annual attendance requirements, their superior will notify the employee following the <br />release of the annual percentages. <br />Any disciplinary action will be kept on record within the employee personnel file. Training <br />and meeting attendance is tracked separately by assigned officers; however, it is the <br />responsibility of each employee that they keep track of their training and meeting <br />attendance to maintain good standing within the department. <br /> <br />Section 2.04 Access to and Use of City Property <br /> <br />Any employee who has been authorized to possess keys, tools, cell phones, computers, or other <br />City-owned equipment is responsible for the safekeeping and care of all such equipment. All such <br />equipment must be turned in and accounted for by any employee leaving employment with the <br />City in order to resign in good standing. <br /> <br />City employees may use City technology for personal reasons on a limited basis provided it <br />doesn’t interfere with normal work. The City reserves the right to inspect any electronic data <br />made by a City-owned device or related system. <br /> <br />City Employees shall not use City equipment or facilities for personal benefit or gain beyond the <br />scope afforded to the general public. On-call firefighters working for an outside employer are <br />permitted to work from the Hugo Fire Station subject to the provisions outlined in Section 2.05 <br /> <br />At the discretion of the Public Works Director, on-call employees may take home a City vehicle <br />to be returned at the end of their on-call shift. <br /> <br />Specific Public Works and Fire Department employees may, with the consent of the City <br />Administrator, use a City vehicle for commuting to and from work. <br /> <br />Section 2.05 On-Call Firefighter Resource Use Policy <br /> <br />The following guidelines have been established for on-call firefighters who are authorized to use <br />Fire Station facilities and resources as a location to perform work for outside employers or self- <br />employment, rather than working from home or another location for the purpose of facilitating <br />more effective and prompt response to emergency calls. <br />a. Resources include shared cubicle areas, kitchen, internet access, and equipment or <br />supplies authorized by the Fire Chief
