The Council Members made
the following statements.
- They objected to the Planning Commission recommending
approval of the preliminary plat because it is a
completely different plan from the original one, i.e.
Hadley Avenue not extending through to County Road 10
- Mr. Lease said there was no five year improvement
plan and the City can only enforce roads within a
subdivision.
- They would like to see a written agreement for the
home owners association and also a cash settlement
for the park land fund.
---The City roads would not be able to handle the
traffic from this subdivision.
- Not within the new zoning plan.
The Planning Commission stated their hands were tied because
there was no moritorium approved by the Council as requested
by the Planning Commission a year ago. Irene Leroux stated
the City Attorney stated that a moritorium was not legal without a
termination date. Mr. Spitzer stated he wished the Council would
approve the comprehensive plan and the moritorium so the Commission
would have something to work with.
