RESOLUTION 2015-13 <br />A RESOLUTIN ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING THE <br />PERPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED RICE <br />LAKE MEADOWS ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING: <br />Geneva ave from oneka lake blvd to 305 ft south of 144th st, 147th St from Geneva Ave to <br />Glenbrook Ave., 146th St from Geneva Ave to Glenbrook Ave, Gleenbrook Ave from 144th St <br />to 145th St, Glenbrook Ave from 146th St to 147th St from Geneva Ave to Goodview <br />Ave, 144th St from Geneva Ave to Glenbrook Ave <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on December 16, 2014 called for the City's <br />consultant City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed Rice Lake <br />Meadows roadway and drainage improvements. The nature of the improvements include <br />roadway reconstruction, storm drainage, and sanitary sewer repair, and appurtenant work; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the February 2, 2015, regular <br />City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted on February 2, 2015, fixed a date for a Public <br />Hearing on the proposed improvements to be held on March 2, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the <br />hearing was held thereon on the 2nd day of March, 2015, at which time all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the 2°a day of <br />February, 2015. <br />3. WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall <br />prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council Member Weidt and duly seconded by <br />Council Member Klein. <br />Council members voting AYE: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt <br />Council members voting NAY: None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 2nd day of R1arc]a 2 15. <br />C <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
