MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> JULY 24, 1974 <br /> TRAEGER'S ADDITION II - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> The Public Hearing was Apexed at 7:08 P.M. by Chairman Larry Ehret. <br /> Mr. Ehret read the Public Hearing Notice published ix the Forest Lake <br /> Times. He also read letters from the Rice Creek Watershed and washing- <br /> ton County Highway Department. <br /> Mr. Waugh was asked if the easement to the drainage ditch posed,aa <br /> problem? He said no and that this was already ix his plan. <br /> The matter of grading these lots was discussed. It would be up to <br /> the Building Inspector to see that these lots were up <br /> brought to the <br /> g <br /> right level. The Planning Commission was concerned on how the Lp <br /> oten- <br /> tial buyers would be informed on their responsibilityof brix iA <br /> the lots uptothe g S <br /> correct level. They discussed the <br /> possibility having the attorney draw up astipulation which would be <br /> registered <br /> ix the abstract. Johnson asked Mr. Waugh if he would be doingthe <br /> filling or would the buyer.er <br /> y Mr. Waugh said that it would be the <br /> obligation of the builder. Lots 5, 6 and 7 are the most critical <br /> lots but all the lots Reed some fill. <br /> There was no input from the Public. The Public Hearingwas closed <br /> at 8:02 P.M. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 8:02 P.M. by Chairman Larry Ehret. <br /> Members present were: Spitzer, Ehret, Peloquix, Leroux <br /> and <br /> (9:23) <br /> Schletty. Also present were : Bill Schwab, Washington County <br /> y <br /> Planning Coordinator; Irene Leroux, City Council member• and <br /> Charles Johnson, City Attorney. ' <br /> Motion made by Spitzer, seconded by Schlettyto dispensewith <br /> the <br /> reading of the minutes. Motion carried. Motion made bySpitzer, <br /> seconded byPeloquin p ' <br /> q to approve the minutes of the July 9, 1974 <br /> meeting after the following correction: Motion carried. <br /> Lighting shall be installed ix accordance with the plan <br /> presented to the Planning Commission and in no instance <br /> shall cause an illumination which exceeds 5 foot candles <br /> at the exterior of the golf course. <br /> TRAEGER'S ADDITION II <br /> Ehret read Engineer' s report. <br /> Mr. Waugh was told to make a correction onhis finallan - <br /> 140th and 141stp <br /> are streets not avenues. <br /> Mr. Johnson asked Mr. Waugh if he had any restrictive covenants <br /> on the use of this land. Mr. Waugh said no. It was decided that <br /> Mr. Waugh would put a restrictive covenants on the abstracts so <br /> the prospective buyers would be informed that they would have to <br /> fill in order to have buildable lots. <br />
