<br />March 2, 2026 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />City of Hugo <br />14669 Fitzgerald Avenue North <br />Hugo, MN 55038 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area Street Improvement Project <br /> Approve Plans and Specifications and Authorize the Advertisement for Bids <br /> WSB Project No. 028436-000 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor and Council, <br /> <br />Previously, the Council had authorized staff to prepare plans and specifications for the 2026 Bald <br />Eagle Industrial Park Area Street Improvement Project. The 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area <br />Street Improvement Project consists of full-depth pavement removal, paving, mill and overlay <br />improvements, spot curb and gutter replacement, trail improvements, street lighting improvements, <br />and minor utility improvements on the following streets: <br /> <br /> 130th Street N from Europa Trail to Forest Blvd N / Trunk Highway 61 (TH 61) <br /> Farnham Avenue N from the south terminus to 130th Street N <br /> Fenway Blvd N from 130th Street N to 140th Street N <br /> 140th Street from Fenway Blvd N to Forest Blvd / TH 61 <br /> Fenway Blvd Court N from Fenway Blvd to its eastern terminus <br /> <br />Plans and Specifications have been prepared for the 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area Street <br />Improvement Project and are ready for advertisement for bidding. Staff is requesting approval of <br />the plans and specifications for the project and authorization to advertise for bids. Staff will place <br />the advertisement for bids, which is required to run for a minimum of 21 days. Plans and <br />Specifications are available for your review at City Hall.
