37 | Page <br /> <br />Appraiser Activity: Permit & Quintile Review Counts <br /> <br />Current state law mandates that all property must be re-assessed each year and reviewed once <br />every five years (aka quintile). Staff also inspect properties that have taken out a construction <br />permit during the course of the year. <br /> <br />During 2025 (for the 2026 assessment), the Assessor Division appraisers and locally hired <br />assessors reviewed 31,297 properties.
