The <br />assessment hearing scheduled for April 6 will be continued to the May 4th City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Additional Background: The 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Street Improvement Project <br />consists of full-depth pavement removal, paving, mill and overlay improvements, spot curb <br />and gutter replacement, trail improvements, street lighting improvements, and minor utility <br />improvements on the following streets: <br /> <br /> 130th Street N from Europa Trail to Forest Blvd N / Trunk Highway 61 (TH 61) <br /> Farnham Avenue N from the south terminus to 130th Street N <br /> Fenway Blvd N from 130th Street N to 140th Street N <br /> 140th Street from Fenway Blvd N to Forest Blvd / TH 61 <br />The project scope includes improvements at Water Tower Park, which will involve <br />demolishing an abandoned communications building and removing old watermain <br />infrastructure. Additionally, the existing trail along Europa Court will be reconstructed as <br />part of this project. <br /> <br />The total estimated cost for the 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Street Improvement <br />Project is approximately $4,678,427. This figure includes the projected construction <br />costs for 2026, a 5% construction contingency, and indirect costs amounting to 20% of <br />the estimated construction expenses. Enclosed is a copy of the amended feasibility <br />report. <br />
