December 11, 2025 PC Minutes <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Commissioner Petty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Klein, to recommend approval of the <br />site plan. <br /> <br />All ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The request will be reviewed by the City Council at their December 15, 2025 meeting. <br /> <br />New Business: 2026 Goal Setting <br /> <br />Juba said that the 2026 Planning Commission Goal Setting session is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, <br />2026, with more details to come. Juba said that there will likely be a sketch plan review application <br />scheduled for the January 22, 2026 meeting. <br /> <br />Old Business <br /> <br />Commissioner Petty asked about the expansion project for Hugo Estates. Juba reminded everyone of <br />the 2022 approval of a 54-unit apartment building and 16 additional manufactured home lots, and said <br />that the developer has asked for a two-year extension. Juba said that the same developer is building <br />the apartments next to Festival Foods, and they’ll likely focus on finishing that project first before <br />revisiting the smaller project. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Commissioner Klein made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Derr, to adjourn at 7:53 PM. <br /> <br />All ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Max Gort, Associate Planner
