The City’s 2026 General Budget has accounted for a dust control project in 2026. <br /> <br />As in past years, staff will also work with May Township to cost share for the application of dust control on the <br />shared portion of Keystone Ave. north of County Road 4. <br /> <br />Quotes for dust control were received and opened on April 10th, 2026. The following prices were received: <br /> <br />Envirotech Services - $1.57/gallon (1st application), $1.57/gallon (2nd application) <br />Northern Salt, Inc. - $1.67/gallon (1st application), $1.67/gallon (2nd application) <br /> <br />With City Council approval, staff would coordinate with Envirotech Services to deliver and place a total of <br />109,000 gallons of calcium chloride in two separate applications, once in mid-June and again in mid-August. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approval of a contract with Envirotech Services. in the amount of $171,130 for the <br />2026 Dust Control Project. <br />
