Tough Mudder Twin Cities 2026 Event Operations Plan <br /> <br />Event Stakeholders <br />Participants All patrons running the Tough Mudder course. All participants must be 18 <br />or older, or 14 - 17 with a chaperone to take part in the event. <br />Spectators All patrons viewing the Tough Mudder course. Spectator routes are <br />marked with wayfinding signs to watch obstacles and take photographs <br />of those participating in the event. <br />Workforce All volunteers, independent contractors, temporary labor, and Tough <br />Mudder staff on-site during the event week and weekend to support the <br />operation of the event. <br />Venue Tyler Scott will act as Tough Mudder’s main point of contact for all venue <br />related questions. <br />Vendors Contractors and suppliers that provide services/equipment for the event. <br />Partner Activations Official Tough Mudder Partners on both the local and national level will <br />be present in the Festival Area. <br />Police Tough Mudder has informed Washington County Sheriff’s Dept of the <br />Parking and Traffic Management Plan and will refine it to ensure <br />compliance by all parties. <br />Emergency Service <br />Providers <br />Tough Mudder will contact local EMS regarding the weekend’s medical <br />operation to ensure they are kept in the loop of our operation. <br />Community Groups Tough Mudder has worked with the CVB/local community to help with <br />volunteer recruitment and local marketing opportunities. <br /> <br />Radio Communication <br />Well established and tested radio communication structures are being implemented to ensure that <br />Tough Mudder Twin Cities 2026 runs smoothly, and that any issues and/or incidents which do arise can <br />be dealt with efficiently and effectively. <br />● Channel 1: Course Staff & Volunteers (primary) <br />● Channel 2: Medical Dispatch (primary) <br />● Channel 3: Sidebar (long conversations) <br />● Channel 4: Film Crew (if applicable) <br />● Channel 5: Festival Staff <br />● Channel 6: Medical Dispatch (backup) <br />● Channel 7: N/A <br />● Channel 8: Parking <br /> <br />● This Tough Mudder will be delivered by an integrated event team, led by the Event Director. <br />Key event operations roles have been identified and will be filled by experienced individuals. <br />Position descriptions for these roles clearly outline responsibilities and reporting channels. A <br />similar staffing model has been used successfully at many previous Tough Mudder events. <br /> <br />● All staff in a management or supervisory role will be issued a radio. A number of radio channels <br />will be used, with radio users logically assigned to one of these channels according to their <br />role. The Event Director, Festival Manager, Construction Manager, and Medical Team will each <br />carry a second radio, and will monitor additional channels. <br />
