ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br />DIVISION 1. GENERALLY <br />Sec. 90-93. Long-term agricultural district (LA). <br />(a) Purpose. The long-term agricultural district (LA) is to allow agricultural property to be included in the state's <br />agricultural preservation program. This property may be used for permitted agricultural activities as defined <br />by Minn. Stat. § 473H.17, and single-family home farmsteads at a density of one per 40 gross acres. <br />(b) Permitted uses. The following are permitted in the LA district: <br />(1) Agriculture, including the sale of products grown on premises. <br />(2) Essential public services (refer to section 90-222). <br />(3) Public recreational fields, structures, and buildings. <br />(4) Residential facility, small (refer to section 90-256). <br />(c) Accessory uses. The following are permitted accessory uses in the LA district: <br />(1) Accessory buildings (refer to section 90-203). <br />(2) Accessory solar energy systems (refer to section 90-261). <br />(3) Daycare, family (refer to section 90-212). <br />(4) Dwelling, single-family detached (refer to section 90-217). <br />(5) Dwelling unit, accessory (refer to section 90-220). <br />(6) Dwelling unit, accessory apartments (refer to section 90-221). <br />(7) Dwelling unit, single-family detached residential (refer to section 90-217). <br />(8) Exterior storage (refer to section 90-223). <br />(9) Farm and garden produce sales (refer to section 90-224). <br />(10) Feedlots (refer to section 90-226). <br />(11) Fences (refer to section 90-227). <br />(12) Garages, private (refer to section 90-229). <br />(13) Home occupations (refer to section 90-230). <br />(14) Kennels, commercial (refer to section 90-235). <br />(15) Kennels, hobby (refer to section 90-235). <br />(16) Lighting, outdoor (refer to section 90-238). <br />(17) Livestock and livestock operations (refer to section 90-240). <br />(18) Parking and loading areas (refer to section 90-252).
