0 <br />611 <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2012-464 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, <br />AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES, RATES AND CHARGES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a uniform system of fees for <br />requests relating to official controls, information, permits, applications or other matters handled <br />by the City, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City conducted a thorough study of its fees in relation to the costs <br />associated with administering the City Code, including the official controls. <br />NOW, THERFORE, it is ordained by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington <br />County, Minnesota, that Chapter 30 of the City Code of the City of Hugo is hereby established <br />providing as follows: <br />Section 30-1. The City of Hugo is authorized to impose fees, rates or charges and the <br />same shall be enumerated in this section or elsewhere in this Code. In the event of any conflict <br />between this section and any other provision of the Code, this section shall control. <br />Section 30-2. Fees established pursuant hereto are found on the attachment hereto: <br />1. The fee shall be doubled for after -the fact permit applications. <br />2. The Uniform Building Code establishes a fee schedule for grading permits. <br />Section 30-3. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction adjudges <br />any part of this Ordinance to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this <br />Ordinance no specifically included within that judgment. <br />Section 30-4. Not Exclusive. This Ordinance shall not limit or preclude any other fee, <br />rates or charges required by this Code. <br />Section 30-5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its <br />passage and publication according to law. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 17"' day of <br />December, 2012. <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
