<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2006 - 406
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUGO
<br />AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES,
<br />RATES AND CHARGES
<br />EREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a
<br />uniform system of fees for requests relating to official controls,
<br />information, permits, applications or other matters handled by
<br />the City, and;
<br />WHEREAS, the City conducted a thorough study of its fees
<br />in relation to the costs associated with administering the City
<br />Code, including the official controls.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordained by the City Council of the
<br />City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, that Chapter 91 of
<br />the City Code of the City of Hugo is hereby established provid-
<br />ing as follows:
<br />Section 91-1. The City of Hugo is authorized to impose fees,
<br />rates or charges and the same shall be enumerated in this sec-
<br />tion or elsewhere in this Code. In the event of any conflict
<br />between this section and any other provision of the Code, this
<br />section shall control.
<br />Section 91-2. Fees established pursuant hereto are found
<br />on the attachment hereto:
<br />1. The fee shall be doubled for after -the fact permit applications.
<br />2. The Uniform Building Code establishes a fee schedule for
<br />grading permits.
<br />Section 91-3. Severability. In the event that a court of com-
<br />petent jurisdiction adjudges any part of this Ordinance to be
<br />invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this
<br />Ordinance no specifically included within that judgment.
<br />Section 91-4. Not Exclusive. This Ordinance shall not limit or
<br />preclude any other fee, rates or charges required by this Code.
<br />Section 91-5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in
<br />effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
<br />Hugo on the 18th day of December, 2006.
