<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005 - 400
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, IT OF PUBLICATION
<br />AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES, RATES AND CHARGES
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a uniform system of fees
<br />fuests relating to official controls, information, permits, applications or other mat-
<br />indled
<br />by the City, and;
<br />WHEREAS, the City conducted a thorough study of its fees in relation to the costs
<br />associated with administering the City Code, including the official controls.
<br />NOW, THERFORE, it is ordained by the City Council of the City of Hugo,
<br />Washington
<br />County, Minnesota, that Chapter 91 of the City Code of the City of Hugo is hereby
<br />established providing as follows:
<br />Section 91-1. The City of Hugo is authorized to impose fees, rates or charges and
<br />the same shall be enumerated in this section or elsewhere in this Code. In the event of
<br />any conflict between this section and any other provision of the Code, this section shall
<br />control.
<br />Section 91-2. Fees established pursuant hereto are found on the attachment here-
<br />to:
<br />1. The fee shall be doubled for after -the fact permit applications.
<br />2. The Uniform Building Code establishes a fee schedule for grading permits.
<br />Section 91-3. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction
<br />adjudges any part of this Ordinance to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any
<br />other provision of this Ordinance no specifically included within that judgment.
<br />Section 91-4. Not Exclusive. This Ordinance shall not limit or preclude any other
<br />fee, rates or charges required by this Code.
<br />Section 91-5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its pas-
<br />sage and publication according to law.
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 19th day
<br />of December, 2005.
