Amendments. Section 1175, Subd. 2 (Landscaping) of the Hugo ,amSey) <br />3 Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br />(B) The location, number, size, and type of all mature trees existing on the site, <br />and identification of those to be removed. Section 1175, Subd. 19 (Plantings) of the Hugo Zoning <br />Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br />Subd. 19 Plantings, except for site restoration activities in the rural devel- <br />opment area, must be of the size indicated below, and meet the American Standard for <br />Nursery Stock published by the American Association of Nurserymen. Bare root plants <br />may be allowed if specifically approved as part of the site development plan, otherwise <br />all plants must be balled and burlaped, or container grown. <br />(A) Overstory deciduous trees — two and one half (2 _) inch caliper <br />(B) Coniferous — six (6) feet in height <br />(C) Shrubs — <br />Deciduous shrubs: three (3) gallon (pot) <br />Coniferous shrubs: five (5) gallon (pot) <br />(D) Ornamental trees — one and one-half (1 —) inch caliper <br />SECTION 8. Amendments. Section 1175, Subd. 21 (Landscaping) of the Hugo <br />Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br />Subd. 21 Property owners are responsible to insure that landscaping is <br />maintained in an attractive condition free from invasive and noxious weeds and materi- <br />als, as defined by the State of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Natural <br />Resources. The owner shall replace any required vegetation within two (2) years of <br />planting, including damaged or dead trees, shrubs, ground covers, and sodding. Blue <br />grass and similar ornamental lawns covers shall be kept cut so as not to exceed twelve <br />(12) inches in height. <br />SECTION 9. Amendments.
