11. ORDINANCE NO. 2003-371 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AMENDING HUGO CITY CODE CHAPTER 150 REPEALING A THREE PERMIT LIMITATION ON THE NUMBER OF ONE -DAY PERMITS WHICH MAY BE ISSUED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND REPLACING IT WITH A TWELVE PERMIT LIMITATION. The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, does hereby ordain as follows: WHEREAS, Chapter 150, Section 4, Subd. 6 provides that, "No more than three, one - day permits may be issued to any one organization or location within a 12 -month period."; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of allowing the issuance of additional one -day permits when that is deemed reasonable and appropriate by the City Council. NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, that: Section 1. Chapter 150 of the City Code of the City of Hugo is hereby amended to delete from Ordinance No. 94-294, City Code Chapter 150, Section 4, Subd. 6 the following language: "No more than three, one -day permits may be issued to any one organization or location within a 12 -month period." and replace it with the following: "No more than twelve, one -day permits may be issued to any one organization or location within a 12 -month period." Section 2. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction adjudges any part of this Ordinance to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance not specifically included within that judgment. Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication according to law.
