APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR RICK MARK
TO ALLOW RECYCLING CENTER US ON THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 15717 FOREST BOULEVARD NORTH
WHEREAS, Rick Mark, requested approval of a conditional use permit amendment to
allow a recycling center use on the property located at 15717 Forest Boulevard North
(See attached Exhibit A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit at a duly
called public bearing on August 27, 2015 and recommends approval subject to the
conditions listed in the conditional use permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
conditional use permit amendment for Rick Mark to allow a recycling center use on the
property located at 15587 Forest Boulevard North with the following findings:
1. The applicant shall meet all conditions listed in the revised conditional use
permit.
2. The request meets the spirit and intent of the ordinance which is to allow a
way for recycling centers to be located in the General Commercial (C-2)
zoning district by reducing the impact of the use on the surrounding
properties.
3. The impacts of the recycling center use to the surrounding properties will
continue to be reduced by limiting the storage area to the locations on the
approved site plan and containing the recyclable material in a way to
mitigate the visual and noise impacts.
4. A building permit shall be applied for and approved by the Building
Department prior to any expansion of the building or new buildings.
