MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JANUARY 6,2015 Oath of Office-.Tom Weidt,Mayor; Becky Petryk.Council Ward 1; Chuck Haas,Council Ward 3: Mike Miron.Council at Large On November 4, 2014 the City of Hugo held its municipal elections with races for Mayor, Council Member Ward 1, and Council Member Ward 3. Tom Weidt was successful in reelection as Mayor, Becky Petryk as Council Member Ward 1, and Chuck Haas as Council Member Ward 3. On December 9, 2014, the Council held interviews to fill the vacancy of the Council at Large seat,which was created by the resignation of Tony Bronk. At the December 15,2014 meeting, Council formally appointed Mike Miron to fill the vacancy. The Mayor and Council Members individually recited the Oath of Office. Call to Order Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:05p.m. PRESENT: Haas(via Skype), Klein, Miron, Petryk,Weidt ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear,City Attorney Dave Snyder,City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Planner Rachel Juba,and City Clerk Michele Lindau Approval of Minutes for the December 11.2014 Holiday Party Klein made motion, Petryk seconded,to approve the minutes for the December 11,2014 Holiday Party as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for the December 15.2014 City Council Meeting Klein made motion, Petryk seconded,to approve the minutes for the December 15, 2014 City Council meeting as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for the December 18.2014 Schwieters Open House Petryk made motion, Klein seconded,to approve the minutes for the December 18,2014 Open House at Schwieters as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Aes nda Weidt made motion, Klein seconded,to approve the agenda as amended by Council Member Hass to include under Council Presentations a"Thank You"to the City of Sanibel, FL. All Ayes. Motion carried.
