Motion carried. <br /> Update on Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> Council Members Chuck Haas and Phil Klein updated the Council on the activities of the Yellow <br /> Ribbon Network to date. Oneka Ridge Golf Course is the sponsor for this month's Hamburger <br /> Night. April 11t is the next packing event. Sal's Angus Grill has a bingo and meat raffle on <br /> Saturdays that the YRN and Blue Star Moms staff. <br /> Resident Ouestion on Warning Sirens in Hugo <br /> Council Member Petryk added this to the agenda as a response to a residents question on why the <br /> severe weather warning sirens cannot be heard indoors. It was explained that the sirens are only <br /> intended to be heard outdoors,and weather radios are recommended to be used when inside your <br /> home. <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear stated that the Sheriff's office is holding an expo on emergency <br /> preparedness and weather awareness on Saturday, May rd. He also talked about the grant the <br /> City received a few years ago to install additional sirens. If sounded, residents should seek <br /> shelter and tune into their TV or weather radio. <br /> Workshop with Fire Department on Wednesday.March 18.2015 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the workshop scheduled with the Hugo Fire <br /> Department Officers to discuss the future of the BLS service in Hugo on Wednesday,March 18, <br /> 2015 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Hugo City Hall in the Oneka Room. <br /> Food Shelf Pasta Dinner on Saturday.March 21.2015 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that the Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf's <br /> 41h Annual Pasta Dinner will be held at the Hugo American Legion on Saturday, March 21,2015 <br /> from 6-9 p.m. The proceeds from the dinner will go towards the new Food Shelf building. <br /> Council has scheduled this as a meeting to attend. <br /> Parks Commissioner Interviews on Monday.March 23.2015 <br /> Staff has received four applications for the vacancy on the Parks Commission. At its March 2, <br /> 2015 meeting,Council scheduled interviews to be held on Monday, March 23, 2015. City <br /> Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of this meeting. <br />
