The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Brunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Miron made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />regular City Council meeting of January 22, 1991 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried' <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinski seconded, to approve the claims for <br />February 4, 1991 in the amount of $38,194.87. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />C"AR! TABLE _GAMBLI NG <br />Miron made motion, Jesinski seconded, that the City of Hugo has no <br />objection to the issuance of a gambling license to the Columbus Lions Club <br />for the operation of pull tabs at Ricci's Saloon and Eatery, 14777 Forest <br />Boulevard, Hugo, MN., and waiver of the 60 day waiting period. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPOINTMENT TO_ORDINANCE_VIOLATIONG COMMITTEE <br />This matter was tabled from the January 22, 1991 City Council meeting. <br />The current vacancy on this Committee is for the Planning Commission <br />representative. <br />Miron made motion, McAllister seconed, to appoint Bob Oswald to serve on <br />the Ordinance Violations Committee as the Planning Commission <br />representative. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MI E SUBDIVISION -3 -LCHMAkF) <br />Sam and Patricia Achman have made application to the City of Hugo for a <br />minor subdivision and waiver of formal platting requirements. The <br />property in question consists of ten acres. It is the applicants' intent <br />to create two, five acre parcels for residential purposes. The property <br />in question was zoned from Agricultural to RR2 by the City Council at <br />their January 7, 1991 regular meeting. The appropriate permit has been <br />secured from the Rice Creek Watershed District, and Washington County <br />Health Department has determined the site suitable for installation of an <br />individual sewage treatment system. The property is legally described as <br />the N 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 35, T31N, R21W, <br />Washington County, Minnesota. There is currently a residence on Tract A <br />of the proposed subdivision (address 8805 No. 122nd St., Hugo, <br />Minnesota). The Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />subdivision, and waiver of the formal platting requirements, at their <br />meeting of January 23, 1991 subject to special conditions. <br />
