MINUTES OF THE. SPECIAL. MEETING OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL ON AUvUS"f 12, 1991 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 6:45 PM. <br />PRESENT: Prunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, k::en Huber <br />City Attorney, Charles Johnson <br />City Attorney, Charles Johnson, made a brief presentation, and provided a <br />list of potential attorneys to replace Mr. Richard Hocking to handle the <br />civil prosecution of Carol and David Schumann. Mr. Johnson reviewed the <br />credentials of each candidate, and their hourly -rate fee. Mr. Johnson <br />stated that he tried to contact several other law firms, and was either <br />turned down because of potential conflicts or the law firms did not get <br />back: to him. It was the general consensus of the Council that the Carson <br />and Clelland fee rate of $100.00/hour would probably be the most <br />economical. After a brief discussion, the following_ motion was <br />introduced <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinsk-i seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1991-12, <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ACTING CITY PROSECUTOR TO HANDLE THE CIVIL_ <br />PROSECUTION OF CAROL AND DAVID SCHUMANN FOR ALLEGED ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS. <br />VOTING AYE: Drunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Miron, Stoltzman <br />VOTING NAY: NONE <br />Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adiourn at %:ti(_i PM. <br />All aye.
