/ S� <br />City Council meeting of December 18, 1989 <br />Page <br />b. All. fees relating to this subdivision shall be paid by the applicant <br />including the cost of recording documents with Washington County. <br />7. Installation of required stormwater control shall be installed at the <br />developer's expense. <br />S. No improvements, landscaping, or grading shall be permitted in the <br />defined drainage areas without the express written authorization of <br />the City and the approved watershed districts. <br />9. All property owners shall be responsible for maintenance of drainage <br />areas within easements on their property. <br />10. Developer shall comply with all requirements and restrictions <br />applicable to identified wetlands. <br />11. The developer shall be responsible for street signs, identifying <br />mailbox locations, providing as --built drawings, installation of trees, <br />and culverts within the development, as required. <br />12. Any exterior lighting or advertising activities on site must be <br />approved by the City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VARIANCE - GARAGE SIZE <br />On behalf of Fred Macalus. Jr., Collova Construction has made application <br />to the City of Hugo for a variance to construct a 684 square foot attachec <br />garage in an SFE zone. The maximum allowed under current ordinance <br />standards is 721 square feet. The request in question is consistent with <br />past Council policy regarding the granting of variances for attached <br />garages up to 1,000 square feet in size. The property in question is <br />generally described as Lot b, Block 1, Bald Eagle Estates (aka 4940 <br />Gallivan Court). The applicant has indicated that the garage will be used <br />for residential/personal storage only. <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the variance request <br />of Collova Construction, on behalf of Fred Macalus, Jr., for the <br />construction of a SS4 square foot attached garage on Lot b, Block: 1, Bald <br />Eagle Estates (aka 4940 Gallivan Court). The garage is to_be used for <br />residential/personal storage only. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />COUNCIL PRIORITIES <br />Mayor Atkinson requested that the City Council complete and submit its <br />review of the Council priorities list. This matter will be discussed at <br />the regular Council meeting of January lb, 1990, allowing time for the <br />City Administrator to tally the numbers. <br />CITY ATTORNEY - REPORT ON THE STATUS OF THE WHITE BEAR ROD €< GUN CLUB <br />City Attorney, Charles Johnson, reported on this matter, and recommended <br />that the City continue with its present course of action. <br />
