SALKOWICZ) <br />Ed and Mary Salkowicz have made application to the City of Hugo for a <br />variance to allow for an attached garage 816 square feet in size (720 sq <br />ft maximum allowed). The property in question is located at 8599 140th <br />Street (the East 348.64 feet of the West 1388.76 feet of that part of the <br />N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 26, T31N, R21W, Washington County, <br />Minnesota). The property is 10 acres in size, and the proposed garage is <br />intended to be used for residential purposes only. The Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments met on June 15, 1988 to review this request and unanimously <br />recommended approval of the variance as requested. <br />Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of Ed <br />and Mary Salkowicz, 8599 140th Street, to allow for an attached garage 816 <br />square feet in size on said property. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GARAGE VARIANCE (D. GROVE) <br />David and Leah Grove have made application to the City of Hugo for a <br />variance to construct an oversized garage 22 ft x 34 ft at 16210 Harrow <br />Avenue. The property is also described as Parcel C of the Jim Weber <br />certificate of survey approved by the City Council on 6/24/87. The <br />maximum permissible attached garage in the RR2 zone is 720 square feet, <br />and Mr. Grove is requesting a garage 770.56 square feet in size. The Huger <br />Board of Zoning Adjustments met on June 15, 1988 and unanimously <br />recommended approval of the variance as requested. <br />Olson made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />David and Leah Grove, 16210 Harrow Avenue, to construct a 22 ft x 34 ft <br />over -sized garage on said property. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GARAGE VARIANCE (L. ZERWAS) <br />Lyle and Charlotte Zerwas have made application to the City of Hugo for a <br />variance to construct an oversized garage in an agricultural zone <br />containing approximately it acres. The property is generally described as <br />6800 137th Street, Hugo, Minnesota, and parcel F of certificate of survey <br />previously approved by the City Council. Mr. Zerwas is requesting an <br />oversized garage of 912 square feet (720 square feet is allowable). This <br />matter was reviewed by the Hugo Board of Zoning Adjustments on June 15, <br />1988, and they recommended approval of the variance. <br />Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />Lyle and Charlotte Zerwas, 6800 137th Street, to construct an over -size <br />garage of 912 square feet on said site. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
