SALKOWICZ) Ed and Mary Salkowicz have made application to the City of Hugo for a variance to allow for an attached garage 816 square feet in size (720 sq ft maximum allowed). The property in question is located at 8599 140th Street (the East 348.64 feet of the West 1388.76 feet of that part of the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 26, T31N, R21W, Washington County, Minnesota). The property is 10 acres in size, and the proposed garage is intended to be used for residential purposes only. The Board of Zoning Adjustments met on June 15, 1988 to review this request and unanimously recommended approval of the variance as requested. Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of Ed and Mary Salkowicz, 8599 140th Street, to allow for an attached garage 816 square feet in size on said property. All aye. Motion Carried. GARAGE VARIANCE (D. GROVE) David and Leah Grove have made application to the City of Hugo for a variance to construct an oversized garage 22 ft x 34 ft at 16210 Harrow Avenue. The property is also described as Parcel C of the Jim Weber certificate of survey approved by the City Council on 6/24/87. The maximum permissible attached garage in the RR2 zone is 720 square feet, and Mr. Grove is requesting a garage 770.56 square feet in size. The Huger Board of Zoning Adjustments met on June 15, 1988 and unanimously recommended approval of the variance as requested. Olson made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of David and Leah Grove, 16210 Harrow Avenue, to construct a 22 ft x 34 ft over -sized garage on said property. All aye. Motion Carried. GARAGE VARIANCE (L. ZERWAS) Lyle and Charlotte Zerwas have made application to the City of Hugo for a variance to construct an oversized garage in an agricultural zone containing approximately it acres. The property is generally described as 6800 137th Street, Hugo, Minnesota, and parcel F of certificate of survey previously approved by the City Council. Mr. Zerwas is requesting an oversized garage of 912 square feet (720 square feet is allowable). This matter was reviewed by the Hugo Board of Zoning Adjustments on June 15, 1988, and they recommended approval of the variance. Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of Lyle and Charlotte Zerwas, 6800 137th Street, to construct an over -size garage of 912 square feet on said site. All aye.
