47 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF il-IE HUGO CITY COUNCIL April 21,1986 The regular meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:00 PM. PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of April 7, 1986, after the following change has been made: Page 44 (9.1) - A copy of the letter is to be sent All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for April 21, 1986, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for April 21, 1986, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Cyril LaCasse - Subdivision Charlie LaCasse, representing Cyril, was present to submit a certificate of survey for the newly created lots (2). Engineer Kuusisto's office inspected the site for review of possible drainage problems, and reported that the site proposed none. The Planning Commission recommended approval, and waived the hardshell requirement. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the subdivision request of Cyril LaCasse to subdivide approximately 37 acres into 3 separate parcels. Approval of division is subject to payment of $200.00 parkland dedication fee. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.2 John Bergman - Subdivision MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, to table application until later in this meeting and the next regular Council meeting. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.4 John Gross - Variance Mr. Gross has proposed the construction of a pole barn closer to 170th Street than the principal structure. His building site is a substantial distance from the road and should be no problem. The Planning Commission recommended approval.
