47 <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF il-IE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />April 21,1986 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of April 7, <br />1986, after the following change has been made: <br />Page 44 (9.1) - A copy of the letter is to be sent <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />April 21, 1986, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />April 21, 1986, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br />5.1 Cyril LaCasse - Subdivision <br />Charlie LaCasse, representing Cyril, was present to submit a certificate of survey <br />for the newly created lots (2). Engineer Kuusisto's office inspected the site for <br />review of possible drainage problems, and reported that the site proposed none. <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval, and waived the hardshell requirement. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the subdivision request <br />of Cyril LaCasse to subdivide approximately 37 acres into 3 separate <br />parcels. Approval of division is subject to payment of $200.00 parkland <br />dedication fee. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.2 John Bergman - Subdivision <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, to table application until later <br />in this meeting and the next regular Council meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.4 John Gross - Variance <br />Mr. Gross has proposed the construction of a pole barn closer to 170th Street than <br />the principal structure. His building site is a substantial distance from the road <br />and should be no problem. The Planning Commission recommended approval. <br />
