15 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL February 4, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:03 PM. PRESENT: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of January 21, 1985, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims for February 4, 1985, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for February 4, 1985, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, CODM'IUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Robert Dotte - Site Plan Approval Mr. Dotte would like to construct a 40 x 60 pole building on his property to be used in conjunction with his sod farming business, which is a principal use allowed in the AG district. MOTION: Potts made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Robert Dotte for the construction of a 40 x 60 pole building subject to the following conditions: 1. Approval based on Mr. Dotte's statements on 1/23/85 which indicate the principal use shall be for storage of sod farming equipment. 2. Any change in principal use shall be made known to the City of Hugo. 3. Any non -conforming use (per code) will be cuase for the building's removal. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.2 Elsie Jasinski - Rezonin Mrs. Jasinski has signed an application for the rezoning of 10 acres from C to A. This action is Council initiated as a building permit was already issued for a non -conforming lot in the A zone. MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 1985-216, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT OF THE DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. All aye. Motion Carried.
