56 June 17, 1985 <br />Jarousek - cont. <br />employees was excessive. The sawmill operation is outside, with only a covering. <br />There is protection on two sides with rows of pine trees. <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br />for Russ Jarousek to goerate a sawmill on his property at 17400 Henna <br />Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. No visible signs be present, other than those normally utilized <br />in a residential district. <br />2. No over-the-counter sales be involved. <br />3. No outside employees shall be hired. Only family members to parti- <br />cipate in said hobby operation. <br />4. No generation of offensive odors, glare, smoke, dust, noise, vibra- <br />tion, or other objectionable influences, extended beyond said <br />property lot lines. <br />5. Any sale or transfer of said property and/or business operation would <br />make this permit subject to review and renewal. <br />6. The Council at their discretion, can review this permit at any time. <br />If violations are found, the permit can be revoked. <br />All aye. motion Carried. <br />Let the record Mr. Jarousek stated he had no problem with Item 3 (above). <br />5.3 Don Klausing - Site Plan Approval <br />Mr. Klausing, who is constructing a house new 130th and Irish, would like approval <br />to construct a 30 x 45 pole building. The property lies within the AG district <br />containing 10 acres. The Planning Commission recc nnended approval. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Don <br />Klausing to construct a 30 x 45 pole building for his personal use. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.4 Frank Puleo - Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Puleo, part owner in a residence located at 16325 Forest Boulevard, would <br />like authorization to raise horses on the property. There is 9.8 acres lying <br />in the SFE district. The Planning Commission recommended approval. <br />MOTION: Potts made nation, Schwab seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br />for Frank Puleo to raise no more than 3 horses in the SFE zone. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Norman Horton - Auto Dismantling Licenses (2) <br />James Flannery, attorney for Mr. Horton, questioned the necessity for the moni- <br />toring wells, as reconmended by the Planning Commission at their meeting of 6/12/85. <br />It was his opinion that there is no factual basis for the requirement. There are <br />other polluters in the city (farmers), and nothing is being done them. Michael <br />and Richard Brandt were present, and stated that it cost them $4800.00 for the <br />
