59 July 16, 1984 <br /> ONEKA LAKE WATER PROBLEMS <br /> Mayor McAllister informed the Council that he has met with Alex Zaluckyj regarding <br /> the outlet from Oneka Lake located on his property, and negotiations for an agree- <br /> ment to resolve the problem mein pr ss. It was McAllister's opinion that any <br /> public debate at this time would not for the best interest of the public. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Lloyd Chalupsky - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Chalupsky has purchased Lots 4 and 9, Royalhaven Estates, and would like to <br /> fill Lot 4 for the construction of a residence. It was McAllister's recommendation <br /> that Chalupsky and Engineer Kuusisto make an on-site inspection of the lot so <br /> that Howard can inform his as to what the city will require prior to the issuance <br /> of a SUP. Mr. Chalupsky was directed to appear before the Planning Commission <br /> with his request, and Kuusisto make available his recommendations for that meeting. <br /> 5.2 Randall Irving - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br /> MOTION: McAllister made nation, Peltier seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit <br /> for Randall Irving, for a 90 day period. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.3 Tom Crever - Variance <br /> Tom Crever, 12942 Ingersoll Avenue, would like to construct a screened-in porch <br /> 5' closer to the lake than his existing deck, making a setback of 53' for the <br /> high-water mark. <br /> MOTION: Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Variance request <br /> of Tom Crever to construct a screened-in porch 53' from the high-water <br /> mark of Sunset Lake. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.4 Gerald Sarau - Site Plan Approval <br /> Mr. Sarau, 16177 Harrow, would like to construct a 36 x 56 pole barn in the AG zone. <br /> The building would be used for personal storage. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Scwhab seconded, to approve the Site Plan for <br /> Gerald Sarau, for the construction of a 36 x 56 pole barn to be used for <br /> personal storage only. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS - No discussion <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS - No discussion <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> MOTION: Atkison made motion, Peltier seconded, designating Councilman Charles <br /> Schwab as Parks Commissioner for the balance of the year 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
