101 September 4, 1984 <br /> Thomas Ryyken - SUP <br /> 3. Mr. Ryyken will pay all legal costs for the agreement. <br /> All .aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.2 Walter Erickson - Rezoning and Land Division <br /> Mr. Erickson, owner of 40 acres in the Conservancy zone, would like to rezone <br /> the property to Agriculture, split 10 acres containing a residence and several <br /> out buildings, and retain 30 acres for a new house and farming purposes. <br /> McAllister wanted to make sure there would be 4 buildable sites prior to any <br /> approval of rezoning to 10 acre lots sizes. Schwab disagreed stating that the <br /> Council should consider the request before them. If Mr. Erickson should apply <br /> for a Land Division of the 30 acres at a later date, then consider requients. <br /> Mr. Erickson stated that he has contacted Rice Creek Watershed regarding their <br /> conditions. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 207, AN ORDI- <br /> NANCE AMENDINWHE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF DESCRIBED REAL <br /> PROPERTY. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Land Division <br /> for Walter Erickson to divide 10 acres from a 40 acre parcel. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that Mr. Walter Erickson <br /> pay $100.00 for parkland dedication. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.3 Lloyd Sathre - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Sathre made application for the raising of non-domestic animals in the RR2 <br /> district. The Planning Commission recommended approval with certain conditions <br /> as determined at the public hearing on July 25, 1984. There were a number of <br /> concerned residents of Sunset Lake to express their concerns about pollution and <br /> the fact that the area is zoned "residential" not agriculture. Mr. Sathre pre- <br /> sented a Certificate of Compliance from MPCA, and Sathre stated he has verbal <br /> approval frau the Washington County ASCS office, and the DNR. Mr. Robert Olson <br /> introduced photos of the animals standing in Sunset Lake. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, McAllister seconded, to deny the application of Lloyd <br /> Sathre for a Special Use Permit to raise non-domestic animals in the RR2 <br /> zone. <br /> VOTING FOR: Schwab, McAllister <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Peltier, Atkinson <br /> Motion <br />
