Motion Carried. <br /> 5.2 Debbie Hehn - Discussion on Additional Utility Unit <br /> Mrs. Hehn operates a beauty shop in her home on Egg Lake Road. There is no city <br /> water, and they are hooked up to city sewer directly to a manhole. There is no <br /> way of registering the amount of water that is used. This situation also exists <br /> in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. Councilman Atkinson suggested that a meter <br /> be placed on their wells to determine the amount of water used. Atkinson will <br /> check into the cost of these meters and how much to have them installed. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - Vacancy. <br /> McAllister directed Mrs. Peltier to report at the first meeting in August the <br /> necessity of a seven member Planning Commission. He would like the Council to <br /> consider the possible reduction in the commission to five members. <br /> 6.3 Water Department - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector - Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.6 Clerk <br /> The clerk informed the Council that she would be taking vaat.ion the week of 8/15/83. <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> No discussion <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> No discussion <br /> 9.0 NEW BUSINESS • <br /> 9.1 Disc on Transfer of Water Improvement Bond Funds <br /> There is a balance in the above mentioned fund in the amount of approximately <br /> $76,000. The following discussion ensued: <br /> 1. Discussion on the adoption of a resolution dedicating $36,000 from this fund <br /> to pay for the proposed loop closure at !47th Street and Highway 61. <br /> 2. Discussion on the dedication of $40,000 to the sanitary sewer sinking fund. <br /> 3. Discussion on taking the money raised as a result of the recent increase in <br /> sewer bills and dedicate to the sanitary sewer sinking fund. <br />
