Attorney Johnson <br /> advised council of statutory requirements concerning <br /> dram shop liability insurance as adopted by the Minnesota <br /> Legislature in the last session. Dram Shop committee <br /> recommended that amendments to ordinances dealing with <br /> non-intoxicating malt liquor licenses be drawn up by <br /> Attorney reducing the $10 ,000. limit of gross sales <br /> to $500 . <br /> 9.0 Attorney and Engineer. <br /> Attorney Johnson handed out his monthly report which is <br /> on file with the city clerk and referred to numbers 228, <br /> 476 , 478, 480 , 482 and 4.83. Regarding #476 - water main <br /> extension. Motion by McAllister, second by Peltier <br /> to authorize Mayor and Attorney to execute an application <br /> to Burlington Northern for necessary permits to cross <br /> over Highway 61 and 147th Street, motion carried. <br /> 9.1 Destruction Agreement. Motion by Vail, second by <br /> Atkinson to authorize Mayor and Clerk to sign the Destruc- <br /> tion Agreement with American National Bank of St. Paul, <br /> agent for the City of Hugo for the fire equipment and <br /> sanitary sewer improvement bonds, motion carried. <br /> 9.2 Kruse Settlement Agreement. Attorney Johnson reviewed <br /> the agreement between Kruse and the City of Hugo . Motion <br /> by McAllister, second by Schwab to authorize the Mayor <br /> to execute the agreement upon recommendation of the City <br /> Attorney, with the Kruses, motion carried. <br /> 9.0 Engineer. Engineer reported on the proposed culvert <br /> in the Peloquin Industrial Park. Drawing was given to <br /> council showing the two proposals for installation. <br /> Letter and drawing is on file with city clerk. Motion <br /> by McAllister, second by Vail that City of Hugo accept <br /> Freeland Avenue provided the developer adjers to Proposal <br /> #2 in letter dated August 15, 1983 from the City Engineer <br /> and pays all the charges associated with proposal #2 <br /> including engineering fees, motion carried. <br /> Motion by Peltier, second by Atkinson to adjourn meeting, <br /> motion carried.
