FEBRUARY 19, 1974 MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEET; <br /> 439 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PTVT by Mayor Crever. Roll <br /> was called: Crever, LaValle, Martin, Leroux, Lease present. <br /> Motion made by Martin, seconded by Lease to approve minutes of <br /> meeting of February 4, 1974 as presented. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Crever, seconded by Leroux to approve minutes of <br /> the meeting of February 11 , 1974 as presented. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Lease, seconded by LaValle to pay the general claims <br /> as presented. Motion carried. <br /> Clerk Burkard reported he had received an additional claim for Carl <br /> Dale of Design Planning Associates for $368.40. Their contract has <br /> been fulfilled, and this is for additional work on zoning, etc. <br /> Motion made by Lease and seconded to pay Design Planning Associates <br /> claim for $428.40 along with the general claims. Motion carried. <br /> Next item on the agenda was renewal of mobile home permits. <br /> Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease to renew mobile home permit <br /> for Dave Lindahl under paragraph B. Section II of Oneka Ordinance #8. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by LaValle,seconded by Leroux to renew- mobile home permit <br /> of John L. Ward under Paragraph B. Section II of Oneka Ordinance #8. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease to renew mobile home permit <br /> of Gordon W. Russett under Paragraph C. Section II of Oneka Ordinance <br /> # 8. Motion carried. <br /> It was noted that the Robert LaCasse mobile home permit is to be <br /> cancelled. <br /> A petition for a mobile home permit for Helen Betts, lots 13, 14, 159 <br /> and 16, on the Leo Schoeller property at 4908 120th Street had been <br /> received in the clerk's office. Mrs. Betts appeared stating she wants <br /> to purchase a mobile home and live on the property near her daughter. <br /> LaValle suggested having them know by March 18th what provisions will <br /> be made for water and a septic system. <br /> Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease to schedule a public hear- <br /> ing for a mobile home permit for Helen Betts for the Leo Schloeller <br /> property at 4908 120th Street, Hugo, Minn. , March 18, 1974 at 9:00 PM. , <br /> with the notice to also be published in the White Bear Press. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Oak Vista Estates Subdivision was the next item on the agenda. Howard <br /> Kuusisto explained certain items to the council with the aid of two <br /> preliminary maps. In his estimation, there would have to be an ex- <br /> tensive amount of upgrading and graveling the roads in the area. <br /> Don Lease stated that in October the planning commission had asked <br /> that no more than thirty six (36j lots be put in the plat, and now <br /> there are thirty eight (38) . Lease also felt they had changed their <br /> plans so much, they should refile their application. He stated there <br /> are no proper outlets to adjacent properties, and if taxpayers have <br /> to pay for upgrading roads around the subdivision, it would cause a <br /> hardship to the taxpayers, and should be denied for this reason. It <br /> was also stated that a cul-de-sac can be no longer than 600 feet, <br /> according to the ordinance. <br />
