2 A Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease, to purchase 2-1" water meters <br /> at $90.92 each. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Lease, seconded by LaValle, to obtain a bond for the <br /> Police Chief, Robert Barth, in the amount of $500.00. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Lease, seconded by LaValle, to bring the bonds up to <br /> $10,000.00 for the City Clerk, Deputy Clerk, and Treasurer. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> A & W Attorney will contact Charles Johnson regarding changing the wording <br /> on their bond. <br /> Budget request for Crimsoncross Kennel was discussed. LaValle told Bob <br /> Burkard to tell Crimsoncross that they are charging too much money. <br /> Motion made by Lease, and seconded to extend the meeting past the 11 :00 <br /> deadline. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Lease, seconded by LaValle, to make Howard Kuusisto's <br /> letter dated November 8, 1974, re: Hugo, Minnesota Parcel Tracts A, B, C, <br /> D, part to the minutes. <br /> The manhole for Starmold was discussed. Howard Kuusisto stated that <br /> the Maplewood Sewer and Water Company is coming out November 19th to <br /> make an estimate on raising the manhole. <br /> The White Bear Rod and Gun Club matter was discussed. Mr. Johnson <br /> explained that the temporary restraining order had been lifted and <br /> the Attorney General was instructed not to pursue the matter any <br /> further. <br /> Motion made by Lease, seconded by Smith, until we get further infor- <br /> mation from Jack Wallace and the Gun Club, and also from the EQC, no <br /> Building Permit shall be issued. Motion carried. This matter will <br /> not be taken up until the meeting of December 16, 1974. <br /> Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease, to have a Special Meeting <br /> at 7:00 P.M., November 25th, to dicuss the Zoning Ordinance. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Johnson will have the draft to the Zoning Ordinance at that time and <br /> present a copy to Carl Dale at the meeting. A tentative date of December <br /> 10th is set for the public hearing. <br /> The Council felt they should not take any action on the Moratorium <br /> until the next meeting. <br /> Lease read letters received from the Washington County Engineer. <br /> A discussion was held on Rehbein's Mining Permit. It was suggested that <br /> a letter be written to Rehbein stating that the road has been completed <br /> and the pits should be leveled to grade. <br /> A discussion was held on the entrance to Starmold. The RR crossing is <br /> going to be moved and they don't want to make any major improvements. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 11 :50 P.M. Motion carried. <br /> Ro er .
