2 2 3DECEMBER 30, 1974 <br /> LaValle Made a motion to appoint a Committee of three (3) to review the <br /> present applications as of today December 30, 1974, one member from the <br /> City Council, one member from the Planning Commission and one member of <br /> a committee at large to be appointed by the City Council. The committee is <br /> to review these particular cases and make recommendations back to the Cit <br /> Council. The fee is waivered and the re-zoning procedure is to be followe <br /> according to the Ordinance. Motion seconded and Carried. <br /> Mayor Lease said the Coumcil should be able to come up with the Committee <br /> by January 6, 1975. <br /> Lease asked Cliff Buchan, Forest Lakes Times, to publish in the Newspaper, <br /> that the City Council is looking for an interested volunteer to serve on <br /> the Committee. Party should contact City Hall or members of the City <br /> Council. <br /> Recess called at 10:03. Called back to order at 10:21 . <br /> Attorney Johnson read the corrections to be made in the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Leroux made motion to extend meeting beyond 11 :00 P.M. Martin seconded. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Martin made motion to adopt Ordinance Co. 1974-119 "The Zoning Ordinance <br /> of Hugo, Minnesota relating to and regulating the use of land and the <br /> location, size, use and heights of buildings, the arrangement of buildings <br /> on lots, and the density of population in the City of Hugo and for the <br /> purpose of promoting the Public Health, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperit; <br /> and General Welfare in said City of Hugo, and for said purpose to divide <br /> the City of Hugo in Districts, and make different regulations for differe <br /> Districts, and repealing prior Zoning Ordinances" effective January 9, 19 <br /> LaValle seconded. Motion Carried. Those for, Lease, Leroux, LaValle and <br /> Martin. Those opposed. None. <br /> Council reviewed the Proposed City Code. <br /> Martin made motion to adopt Ordinance No. 1974-120 "An Ordinance adopting <br /> the Hugo Code and Providing for Repeal of inconsistant Ordinance of the For- <br /> mer Township of Oneka and Former Village of Hugo". LaValle seconded. <br /> Motion carried. Those for Lease, Leroux, LaValle and Martin. Those opposed. <br /> None. <br /> Motion made by LaValle, seconded by Lease to adjourn at 12:06 P.M.
