FEBRUARY 18, 1975 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCII2 1 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:12 by Mayor Lease. Members present <br /> were: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. Also present were <br /> Charles Johnson, City Attorney and Howard Kuusisto, City Engineer. <br /> The minutes of February 3 were reviewed. LaValle made motion, Leroux <br /> seconded to approve minutes. Motion Carried. <br /> The general claims of February 18 were reviewed. Lease made motion, <br /> seconded by LaValle, to pay the general claims of February 18. Motion <br /> Carried. <br /> Mr. E. Forsblad and Mr. C. Hays presented a application for a liquor <br /> license transfer. The following information is needed: <br /> 1 . Articles of Incorporation <br /> 2. Liquor liability insurance amount. <br /> 3. Corporate name of company. <br /> 4. Police reference. <br /> 5. Bond changed to Corporate name. <br /> With this information still outstanding the following motion was made: <br /> LaValle made motion to table the transfer of the liquor license from <br /> Earl Forsblad to C. Hays to the March 3rd. meeting. Schletty seconded the <br /> motion. Motion Carried. <br /> Northern States Power Company representatives presented a new Electric <br /> Service Agreement to the Council. Questionable conditions are to be sent <br /> in letter form and attached to the new agreement. <br /> LaValle made motion to increase Deputy Clerks salary $50.00, per month <br /> effective March 1st. Leroux seconded. Motion Carried. <br /> Clerk Burkard stated several Ordinances do not have fees listed. Mayor <br /> Lease asked Clerks office to make a listing and send copies to J. Smith, <br /> Ordinance Committee and Attorney Johnson. <br /> Clerk Burkard read data which the Office of Revenue Sharing will be using <br /> to calculate the general revenue sharing allocation for the sixth Entitle— <br /> ment Period beginning July 1 , 1975 and ending June 30, 1976. He stated the <br /> population was estimated too low. <br /> Lease made motion instructing Clerks office to write a letter to the Depart— <br /> ment of the Treasury regarding a change in the population figure as verified <br /> by the Metro Council census figures. Copies also to be sent to Quiet Mondale <br /> and-iu:mphrey. LaValle seconded the motion. Motion Carried. <br /> Attorney Johnson and Attorney Mikeworth, representing Donald Wenzel applica— <br /> tion for reverse subdivision, are to get together and write up a Special <br /> Use Permit noting that the two lots are kept at one owner. The Special <br /> Use Permit to be presented to the City Council at the March 3rd. meeting. <br /> Clerk Burkard stated that Chapter 150-3 Subd. A. "Not more than 5 "On—Sale" <br /> licenses shall be granted at any one time." Should be changed to read more <br /> than six (6) . <br /> Procedures on how to enforce Ordinances was discussed, pertaining to the <br /> Don Tauer rental problem. <br />
