MARCH 3, 1975 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL nr a The meeting was called to order at 7:13 by Mayor Lease. Members present were: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. Also present were Charles Johnson, City Attorney and Howard Kuusisto, City Engineer. The minutes of February 18 were reviewed. LaValle pointed out that Deputy Clerks salary be stated at an increase of $50.00 per month rather than just an increase of $50.00. Lease made motion,seconded by Smith to approve minutes of Febuary 18, 1975 after correction. Motion Carried. Lease made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the General Claims of March 3. Motion Carried. Leroux made motion, seconded by Sciletty to approve the Utility Claims of March 3. Motion Carried. • LaValle made motion to approve the transfer of a liquor license from Earl Forsblad to Rockville U.S.A. subject to the parties involved showing title transfer activation closed with a time limit of thirty (30) days and author- ization be given to Mayor Lease and Clerk Burkard to sign such license. Leroux seconded. Motion Carried. LaValle made motion to approve a cigarette license to Rockville U.S.A. subject to the same conditions. Leroux seconded the motion. Motion Carried. Lease made motion to table the Wenzel Special Use Permit to the March 17th. meeting after Attorney Johnson confers with Attorney Mikeworth. LaValle seconded the motion. Motion Carried. LaValle made motion to approve final plat of the Hardwood Creek Estates subject to the following conditions. 1 . Payment of the park fund of $1 ,500.00. (Clerk Burkard accepted payment at the meeting.) 2. Performance Bond in the amount of $10,000 for the completion of the road construction to the city standards. 3. Buildings shall not be set back further than 200' . 4. Drainage easement along East side of Lot 8. 5. Item #4 of the City Council Minutes of October 7, regarding the scenic easement is to be waived. Smith seconded the motion. Motion Carried. Dog Ordinance reviewed. Suggested corrections were to be made and it will again be presented to the Council for approval. LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease to approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 122 "An ordinance amending Chapter 150 of the Hugo City Code, entitled, "Liquor, Beer & Wines". Motion Carried. Tree Inspector presented his program for review. City Engineer and Attorney and City Clerk are to review the recommendations and present their findings to the City Council at the March 17 meeting. Smith made motion, seconded by LaValle, to invest $1 ,550.00 in C.D. for the Special Park Fund. Motion Carried.
