MARCH 3, 1975 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL nr <br /> a <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:13 by Mayor Lease. Members present <br /> were: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. Also present were <br /> Charles Johnson, City Attorney and Howard Kuusisto, City Engineer. <br /> The minutes of February 18 were reviewed. LaValle pointed out that Deputy <br /> Clerks salary be stated at an increase of $50.00 per month rather than <br /> just an increase of $50.00. <br /> Lease made motion,seconded by Smith to approve minutes of Febuary 18, 1975 <br /> after correction. Motion Carried. <br /> Lease made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the General Claims of <br /> March 3. Motion Carried. <br /> Leroux made motion, seconded by Sciletty to approve the Utility Claims of <br /> March 3. Motion Carried. <br /> • <br /> LaValle made motion to approve the transfer of a liquor license from Earl <br /> Forsblad to Rockville U.S.A. subject to the parties involved showing title <br /> transfer activation closed with a time limit of thirty (30) days and author- <br /> ization be given to Mayor Lease and Clerk Burkard to sign such license. <br /> Leroux seconded. Motion Carried. <br /> LaValle made motion to approve a cigarette license to Rockville U.S.A. <br /> subject to the same conditions. Leroux seconded the motion. Motion Carried. <br /> Lease made motion to table the Wenzel Special Use Permit to the March 17th. <br /> meeting after Attorney Johnson confers with Attorney Mikeworth. LaValle <br /> seconded the motion. Motion Carried. <br /> LaValle made motion to approve final plat of the Hardwood Creek Estates <br /> subject to the following conditions. <br /> 1 . Payment of the park fund of $1 ,500.00. (Clerk Burkard accepted <br /> payment at the meeting.) <br /> 2. Performance Bond in the amount of $10,000 for the completion of <br /> the road construction to the city standards. <br /> 3. Buildings shall not be set back further than 200' . <br /> 4. Drainage easement along East side of Lot 8. <br /> 5. Item #4 of the City Council Minutes of October 7, regarding the <br /> scenic easement is to be waived. <br /> Smith seconded the motion. Motion Carried. <br /> Dog Ordinance reviewed. Suggested corrections were to be made and it will <br /> again be presented to the Council for approval. <br /> LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease to approve the adoption of Ordinance <br /> No. 122 "An ordinance amending Chapter 150 of the Hugo City Code, entitled, <br /> "Liquor, Beer & Wines". Motion Carried. <br /> Tree Inspector presented his program for review. City Engineer and Attorney <br /> and City Clerk are to review the recommendations and present their findings <br /> to the City Council at the March 17 meeting. <br /> Smith made motion, seconded by LaValle, to invest $1 ,550.00 in C.D. for <br /> the Special Park Fund. Motion Carried. <br />
