APRIL 7, 1975 VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. VOTING AGAINST: None MOTION CARRIED 6. MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Leroux to grant a renewal Temporary Mobile Home Permit to Joe Zaspel under Hugo Code Chapter 40, Article III, Subd. D for three months for a fee of $10.00. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Schletty VOTING AGAINST: None MOTION CARRIED STAFF REPORTS: ORDINANCE COMMITTEE: Ordinance Committee has completed its review of the Subdivision Ordinance and has submitted copies of the corrections to the Council to be reviewed at the next meeting of April 21 , 1975. POLICE DEPARTMENT: Police Chief questioned wheather Rockville U.S.A. is entitled to a Sunday Liquor License as they serve only sandwiches from a heated oven, not an open kitchen. Chief to question the intent of the owners as to future plans regarding food. 7. Hiring of full time patrolman MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith to hire John Jackson at a starting salary of $9,000.00 per year with $150.00 clothing allowance and $250.00 in insurance benefits at a full time starting date of April 15, 1975. Jackson was questioned wheather the starting salary was adequate and he stated yes. Schletty questioned the $250.00 toward insurance and the insurance policy was reviewed. Officer Jackson stated his intent wa; to move to the City of Hug() when possible. Chief Barth stated that Officer Jackson was to be sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and that during his vacancy, another patrol- man would be available for duty. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Scnletty. VOTING AGAINST: None. MOTION CARRIED Councilman LaValle asked Chief Barth to keep tract of squad mileage and to report up to date mileage on the monthly report. ATTORNEY: 8. Suggested correction of Diseased Tree Control Program area changing Section 8 to Section 20.
