APRIL 7, 1975 <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> VOTING AGAINST: None <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6. MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Leroux to grant a renewal <br /> Temporary Mobile Home Permit to Joe Zaspel under Hugo <br /> Code Chapter 40, Article III, Subd. D for three months for <br /> a fee of $10.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Schletty <br /> VOTING AGAINST: None <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> STAFF REPORTS: <br /> ORDINANCE COMMITTEE: <br /> Ordinance Committee has completed its review of the Subdivision <br /> Ordinance and has submitted copies of the corrections to the Council <br /> to be reviewed at the next meeting of April 21 , 1975. <br /> POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br /> Police Chief questioned wheather Rockville U.S.A. is entitled to a <br /> Sunday Liquor License as they serve only sandwiches from a heated <br /> oven, not an open kitchen. Chief to question the intent of the owners <br /> as to future plans regarding food. <br /> 7. Hiring of full time patrolman <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith to hire John Jackson <br /> at a starting salary of $9,000.00 per year with $150.00 <br /> clothing allowance and $250.00 in insurance benefits at a <br /> full time starting date of April 15, 1975. <br /> Jackson was questioned wheather the starting salary was adequate and <br /> he stated yes. Schletty questioned the $250.00 toward insurance and <br /> the insurance policy was reviewed. Officer Jackson stated his intent wa; <br /> to move to the City of Hug() when possible. <br /> Chief Barth stated that Officer Jackson was to be sent to the Bureau <br /> of Criminal Apprehension and that during his vacancy, another patrol- <br /> man would be available for duty. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Scnletty. <br /> VOTING AGAINST: None. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Councilman LaValle asked Chief Barth to keep tract of squad mileage <br /> and to report up to date mileage on the monthly report. <br /> ATTORNEY: <br /> 8. Suggested correction of Diseased Tree Control Program area changing <br /> Section 8 to Section 20. <br />
