Several <br /> ways of satisfying the situation were discussed. As it is illegal <br /> to interefere with public rightaway and ditch way, affected property <br /> owners could contact the County Attorney for prosecution. <br /> People could continue to unplug the culvert themselves. <br /> If property damage results from the illegal plugging of the culvert, <br /> residents could contact attorney for suit of recoverable damage. <br /> 6.9 CLERK <br /> Application for Rezoning for Used Car Lot was submitted and Council <br /> referred it to the Planning Commission for review. <br /> REAL ESTATE CLAIMED TO BE EXEMPT FROM TAXATION <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schletty seconded to have Clerks <br /> office complete form for Exemption from Taxation on Lot <br /> 20 Royalhaven Estates, Block 001 Oneka Township, Park Land. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Revenue Sharing Planned Use Report was submitted to Council. The <br /> amount of $12,878.00 to be discussed at next meeting of May 19, 1975. <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, LaValle seconded to authorize Treasurer <br /> to cash two C.D. 's one in the amount of $5,000.00, and <br /> one in the amount of $800.00 to be deposited in the general <br /> fund. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Price of an office calculator for Clerk to be priced by Mayor. <br /> 8.1 RIDLER — BUILDING PERMIT <br /> Building Inspector stated he could not issue building permit when <br /> he was standing in water on the supposed buildable site. Lease stated <br /> that as long as the Pere test passed, and that owners have been duly <br /> informed of the substandared lots and that they agree to build anyway <br /> at no recourse to the City of Hugo, the permits should be issued as <br /> direct order from City Council bypassing responsibilities of Building <br /> Inspector. The building inspector would still have to pass approval <br /> for the septic system. <br />
