MARCH 29, 1976 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> SRECIAL MEETING 29 <br /> TIME: 7:20 P.M. <br /> PRESENT: Lease, LaValle, Leroux and Schletty. <br /> Smith arrived at 7:32 P.M. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING REGARDING SUNSET LAKE AREA RESIDENTS WITH SPECIFIC <br /> DRAINAGE PROBLEMS - RESULTING IN THE POLUTION OF THE LAKE. Those <br /> that were sent letters as direct violators were: Olson, Gamboni, <br /> Fellman, Card, Pavek, Day, Storms, Friel and Zinschlag. <br /> Mayor Lease explained that the City would be holding a Public <br /> Hearing on the drainage problems of Sunset Lake but wanted to know <br /> the feelings of the residents whether they wanted the lake to be <br /> used as a recreational lake or otherwise. <br /> There was a difference of opinion between the audience and Council <br /> as to what actually caused the elevation of Sunset Lake. <br /> The Engineer was instructed to look at the problem and to suggest <br /> 3 or 4 different methods of resolving the problem. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Schletty seconded to hold a Public <br /> Hearing on April 27, 1976 at 7:00 P.M. at the Withrow <br /> Elementary School for informational purposes regarding <br /> the septic system and water level of the Sunset Lake <br /> and area residences. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> IT was mentioned that the Tauer/Strand problem had been resolved <br /> as per report of the Rice Creek Watershed said Mr. Tauer. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Leroux seconded to adjourn meeting <br /> at 8:45 P.M• <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith, and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> £2 .(ki - <br /> Carol A.
