6.9 ENGINEER <br /> Met with people on Europa- some blading has been done-ditching am00 <br /> gravelling will be done after frost is out of ground. Neil Peltier <br /> culvert should be put in and ditching done. Will meet with Hoffman <br /> Bros. on April 12th and geta time schedule for doing corrective work. <br /> Evergreen Hills called to Rice Creek's attention and they will look <br /> into matter. Bald Eagle Industrial Park-conditions must be met before <br /> other developments can be discussed. Horseshoe Lake- a formal hearing <br /> will be held after Rice Creek Watershed District checks with property <br /> owners so that a fair appraisal can be made. Strand-Sunset Lake-Rice <br /> Creek Watershed District observed some disturbing of the soil near <br /> the septic tank and it appears that one section of the pipe has been <br /> removed. City Engineer doesn't know if it is still contributing to <br /> the lake or not. LaValle recommended a road inspection in Hugo with <br /> Engineer on Monday, April 12th. <br /> 7.0 Clerk <br /> Annual Board of Review will be held Thursday, May 20th from 9:30- <br /> 3:00. Schletty, Smith, Leroux, and LaValle will attend. Clerk instruct- <br /> ed to post the notice in the newspaper. <br /> Clerk noted that City Hall phones are presently limited to 75 calls <br /> per month with an additional charge of 100 per call for additional <br /> calls. Monthly bills are higher than if were billed for unlimited <br /> service. <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, Smith seconded, to change telephone service <br /> from limited calls to unlimited service. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to give the Lion's <br /> Club's building plans to the building inspector-building <br /> inspector to report back at noxt meeting. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to extend meeting <br /> beyond 11 :00PM. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> City attorney instructed to contact Frank Murray of Rice Creek Water- <br /> shed District to make application for a permit to discharge water <br /> into Hardwood Creek from Horseshoe Lake. <br /> Building Inspector stated that Mel Strand and his daughter who re- <br /> sides in the basement apartment in the home still owned by Don Tauer, <br /> are both vacating the premises. Building Inspector requested City <br /> to notify Tauer that the home should be returned to a single family <br /> dwelling.
