PRINTER'S AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1998-327 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A STORM <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT TAX DISTRICT <br />WITHIN THE MEANING OF MINNESOTA <br />STATUTE §444.16 ET. SEQ. <br />The City Council for the City of Hugo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, hereby ordains <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. Purpose. <br />This Ordinance is adopted to establish a <br />storm sewer improvement tax district within the <br />meaning of Minnesota Statute §444.16 et. seq. <br />The district is established in order to create a <br />framework to maintain the storm sewer <br />drainage system within the plat of Creek View <br />Preserve. <br />The City Council has determined that it is in <br />the best interests of the City to set up a <br />method to insure that the drainage areas and <br />outlots are properly maintained for the benefit <br />of the residents of the plat, and that the costs <br />of maintenance are fairly and equitable appor- <br />tioned among those properties contributing <br />water to those drainage areas. <br />Section 2. Authority. <br />The City has adopted this Ordinance pur- <br />suant to the provisions of Minnesota Statute <br />§444.16 et. seq. <br />Section 3. Description of Land. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Statute §444.17, the <br />territory or area included within the storm <br />sewer improvement district is described with <br />particularity on the attached Exhibit A, said <br />land is hereinafter referred to herein as the <br />"Subwatershed." <br />Section 4. Name of District. <br />The storm sewer improvement district cre- <br />I herein shall hereinafter be referred to as <br />-Hugo Storm Sewer Improvement Tax District <br />No. 2." <br />Section 5. Filings. <br />The City Clerk of the City of Hugo is hereby <br />directed to file a certified copy of this <br />Ordinance with the County Auditor and a sepa- <br />rate certified copy with the County Recorder <br />pursuant to the statutory mandate found in <br />Minnesota Statute §444.17. <br />Section 6.
