<br />mN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20
<br />OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED
<br />"ADMINISTRATION" BY REDUCING MAYOR
<br />AND COUNCIL SALARIES
<br />The City Council of the City of Hugo,
<br />Washington County, Minnesota, does hereby
<br />ordain:
<br />1. Delete Article II, Subd. A, establishing
<br />the Mayor's salary, and insert the following in
<br />lieu thereof:
<br />Subd. A. Mayor. The Mayor shall receive
<br />$75.00 per meeting, payable quarterly, for
<br />attendance at all duly called regular, special,
<br />and emergency meetings of the City Council at
<br />which a quorum is present:
<br />2. Delete Article II, Subd. B, establishing
<br />Council member salaries, and insert the follow-
<br />ing in lieu thereof:
<br />Subd. B. Council Member. Each Council
<br />member shall receive $60.00 per meeting,
<br />payable quarterly, for attendance at all duly
<br />called regular, special, and emergency meet-
<br />ings of the City Council at which a quorum is
<br />present.
<br />3. Subd. G. Effective Date. The provisions
<br />of this ordinance shall be effective January 1,
<br />1999.
<br />Upon roll call, the following members vot-
<br />ing AYE: Warren Arcand, Debra Barnes.
<br />Andrew Goiffon, James Leroux, Fran Miron
<br />Voting NAY: NONE
<br />Whereupon said ordinance was declared
<br />passed adopted this 5th day of October, 1998.
