ORDINANCE 1992 - 277 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE HUGO <br /> CITY CODE ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATION" <br /> The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, <br /> Minnesota, hereby ordains : <br /> 1. Delete Article II , Subd. A, establishing the Mayor's salary, <br /> and insert the following in lieu thereof: <br /> Subd. A. Mayor. The Mayor shall receive $90 .00 per <br /> meeting, payable quarterly, for attendance at all duly <br /> called regular, special, g <br /> and emergency meetings of the City <br /> g <br /> Council at which a quorum is present. <br /> 2 . Delete Article II, Subd. B, establishing Council member <br /> salaries , and insert the following in lieu thereof: <br /> Subd. B. Council Member. Each Council Member shall receive <br /> $75 . 00 per meeting, payable quarterly, for attendance at all <br /> of the <br /> special , and emergency duly called regular, pmeetings g <br /> City Council at which a quorum is present. <br /> 3 . Delete Article II, Subd. C, establishing additional <br /> compensation for the Mayor and Council Members, and. insert <br /> the following in lieu thereof: <br /> Subd. C. Travel and Training. The City Council shall <br /> approve, in advance, attendance by the Mayor or Council <br /> Members at special short courses, conferences , and other <br /> meetings on matters of concern to the performance of their <br /> duties , for which expense reimbursement is requested. <br /> 4 . Subd. D. Advances. All advances for travel and training <br /> must be approved by the City Council. <br /> 5. Subd. E. Mileage. The City shall pay the current federal <br /> mileage rate for use of personal vehicles in the course of <br /> City related business. <br /> 6 . Subd. F. Workers Compensation. The Mayor and City Council <br /> may, at its discretion, be included in the coverage of the <br /> workers compensation act or similar-type injury protection <br /> program. <br /> 7 . Subd. G. Effective Date.
