r <br />AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />ORDINANCE 1989-261 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 40 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE ENTITLED "BUILDINGS AND <br />CONSTRUCTION", IN ARTICLE III, <br />SECTION 40-12, ENTITLED "USES <br />PROHIBITED AND EXCEPTIONS" TO <br />DELETE REFERENCES TO TRAN- <br />SIENT HOUSE AND WATCHMAN'S <br />QUARTERS AND TO ESTABLISH RE- <br />QUIREMENTS FOR MOBILE HOME/ <br />MANUFACTURED HOMES. <br />The City Council of the City of Hugo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, hereby <br />ordains: <br />1. Delete Article III, 40-12, Subd. A en- <br />titled "Transient house" in its entirety <br />and insert the following in lieu thereof: <br />Subd. A. Requirements for Mobile <br />Homes/Manufactured Homes. <br />The City Council, at its discretion, <br />may issue permits subject to reasonable <br />conditions, to property owners for the <br />use or occupancy of mobile homes/man- <br />ufactured housing as a principal use in <br />zoning districts allowing residential use <br />outside of approved mobile home parks. <br />All such housing shall be constructed in <br />compliance with State Building Codes, <br />be a minimum of 960 square feet in size, <br />be a minimum of 22' in width, be con- <br />structed on a permanent foundation, be <br />connected to an approved water and <br />sewer system, and meet all setback re- <br />quirements and minimum lot sizes as <br />specified for the zoning district where lo- <br />cated. <br />2. Delete Article III, 40-12. Subd. E en- <br />titled "Watchman's quarters" in its en- <br />tirety. <br />3. Except as amended herein, Chapter <br />40 shall remain in full force and effect. <br />4.
