r <br /> ORDINANCE 1986-231 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 290 OF THE HUGO CITY <br /> CODE ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION" BY AMENDING THE PARKLAND <br /> DEDICATION FEL FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY. <br /> The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, <br /> hereby ordains: <br /> Section 290-9, Subd. B, (3) - Delete in its entirety and insert the <br /> following: <br /> In all new subdivisions a minimum of seven percent (7%) of the gross <br /> area subdivided shall be dedicated for public recreation space or other <br /> public use. The dedicated percent of the gross area subdivided shall be <br /> in addition to public ways. No areas may be dedicated for public use <br /> until such areas have been approved by the governing body as suitable <br /> and necessary for the public health, safety, convenience, and general <br /> welfare. When the subdivision is too small for practical dedication <br /> of public land or if no land in the subdivision is suitable for such <br /> use, the subdivider may be required to pay a fee of $100.00 per lot <br /> created. Lots created in any manner or in any zone may be subject to <br /> the above requirements if in the opinion of the governing body the <br /> lots will not be resubdivided. <br /> E±FECTIVE DATE: This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage <br /> and publication according to law, and upon becoming effective shall be <br /> incorporated in the City Code. <br /> ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS x'- DAY OF , 1986. <br /> 9P;');Z:e1-41--63.2CaliZa&A--) <br /> J.
